Ok, first of all, what IS this funlights stuff? Well, basically, on the V600 (don"t worry, it DOES work on the V3, keep reading), there is an outer ring of lights which pulses or flashes with various patterns when the phone is charging, has a message, or gets a call. When we enable funlights on the Razr V3, the keypad/screen will flash when you get calls, and the Bluetooth indicator light will flash as well, and also when you have a message or are charging your phone.

Everyday, someone posts about not being able to change the custom startup or shutdown screens or sounds. This guide is meant to take all the guesswork out of adding those really cool features. The skin is not complete until you have the startup and shutdown screens and animations working correctly. Just to clear up any misunderstandings, the custom startup and shutdown animations must be named specifically as custwakeup.gif and custgoodbye.gif. The custom startup and shutdown sounds must be named Cust_Start~up.mp3 and Power~down.mp3. If they"re not named exactly like this, your phone will not recognize them and they will NEVER work. So make sure you"ve got your .gifs and .mp3s named correctly.
